IDS appoints Jamie Blackwell to Business Analyst & Process Manager

February 20, 2023Filed Under: Announcements

Please join IDS in welcoming Jamie Blackwell as the IDS Business Analyst & Process Manager. His official start date was February 13, 2023.

Jamie Blackwell is a North Carolina native with 18 years of public service with the State of North Carolina. He previously worked for the North Carolina State University (NCSU) Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering as a research associate.

Most recently, he served the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality as a planning manager. While there, he developed research methods, provided technology support, data analysis and process improvement to support multidisciplinary teams of researchers, engineers, planners, and administrative personnel.

Jamie graduated from NCSU, earning a B.S. in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering Technology & Business Management and a M.S. in Natural Resources, specializing in Geographic Information Systems.

Jamie’s initial focus will be on workflow automation, process organization, and IT systems integration for IDS. He will spend his first few weeks assessing and documenting the status of IDS business processes. Jamie will meet with staff at all levels to gain full understanding of each of their respective roles in supporting the IDS mission and then develop strategies and goals for the short and long term.

To reach Jamie, send an email to James.D.Blackwell@nccourts.org
